LIBERALS, Let’s Leave Cyber Bullies Behind; Move Forward to Defeat GOP!

I stated in my previous blog post that in order to concentrate all my Twitter time on moving forward with liberal causes and the effort to defeat the GOP in 2014 and beyond that I am going to block all the cyber bullies who have attacked me and other innocent UniteBlue supporters.  Removing them from my timeline will help prevent my tendency to want to reply with the truth which only gives them the exposure they so desperately crave and need for their attacks, since their own follower numbers are very low.

But, I wish to make it clear that I am not blocking and never have blocked anyone just because they disagree with me even if they are GOP conservatives.  And, I am not blocking and never have blocked liberals who have not joined UniteBlue; I would never limit myself to one liberal organization for information or help in fighting for liberal causes.  There are so many worthy liberal organizations fighting the good fight and I want all of them to thrive and be successful.  I do feel that @UniteBlue with the twibbon on Twitter has the potential to gain such liberal political power that we all should be using the robust tools being provided for us on the UniteBlue.com website.

We have re-elected POTUS with widespread support and have made tremendous liberal progress. But, the GOP was very successful in gerrymandering districts so that they, with their RWNJ extremists, control the House of Representatives. The GOP control has had a tremendous negative effect on our country’s ability to come back from the ’08 financial collapse. They’ve blocked all measures to actually create jobs; and, instead, they have passed hundreds of bills that are offensive to women, support the gun manufacturers, and basically, due to their support of corporate lobbyists, are blocking any and all efforts that would help the 99%.

It’s obvious to the majority of citizens that these few GOP have only their extremists’ goals in mind and have no intentions of doing anything that will actually help the citizens of our country.  The GOP knows that their brand is being severely damaged but their hands are tied because most of these extremists are protected in their gerrymandered districts, and it will be difficult for them to be voted out of Congress.  That’s why we liberals must organize a very powerful voice to make sure that people are aware of what is happening and help turn out the vote in 2014, not only at the federal level but at every state and local election. We must expose the details of the GOP activities at ALL levels of government and this will take a UNITED effort!

Of course, we can all attempt to organize and turn out the vote in 2014 with our individual liberal groups; but, just think how politically powerful it would be to have the Twitterverse awash in UniteBlue twibbons and know that we could call upon that kind of political power to address our liberal causes and to aid in the defeat of the GOP at the federal, state, and local levels AND to defeat all those GOP governors!  Think about it! Do you really want to pass up the opportunity to have that kind of liberal voice affecting the next 20 to 30 years!

I am certainly going to participate in Uniteblue.com organizing of liberals at all levels and encourage all to make use of the tools provided on the website to aid in their liberal organization’s goals. A little help goes a long way in politics and @UniteBlue on Twitter is providing much more than just a little help!  If you are on Twitter and decide not to join @UniteBlue, that’s your decision and I certainly respect it.  I would ask that, at the very least, you remove the cyber bullies and their divisive voices from your timeline and encourage your followers to do the same so that we can all move forward and defeat the GOP in 2014 and beyond.

The extremists GOP are giving us plenty of ammunition to use to vote them out of office.  Almost daily, one of their bigoted, racist, religious extremists opens their mouths to say something so offensive that even the news people are shocked.  But, the MainStreamMedia reports it anyway; and, because of the their supposed unbiased reporting, the ones who agree with the extremists become more active and even the “normal” GOP representatives are compelled to vote with this gang of repulsive individuals

Twitter is a powerful voice and no other liberal organization has been as successful as @UniteBlue in organizing liberals to affect multiple liberal causes at all levels of government.  We have the opportunity of a lifetime to advance our liberal causes and to squash the GOP with its negative, offensive party platform.  Liberals, please do not allow those who have only their own selfish motives to continue to divide us. Join @UniteBlue and let’s make use of all its powerful tools on UniteBlue.com and all the organizations working with it to create the most powerful liberal political voice anyone has ever seen!

Think I’m being outrageously optimistic about @UniteBlue’s potential?  Think back to the 2012 election and the MainStreamMedia reports on how Twitter affected the election with its numerous reports on suspicious activities at major voting precincts and even some small out-of-the-way voting precincts, on the get-out-the-vote effort, and on the stay-at-the-polls-to-vote effort!  Imagine that kind of tremendous political power being used to affect liberal causes!  It WILL happen with @UniteBlue but it could happen so much more rapidly at a time we desperately need it if all liberals and their organizations join in now to make it happen! Time is of the essence in this fight against the GOP; we need all our voices united NOW for the strongest possible political voice!  Let’s leave the cyber bullies behind with all their negative energy and move forward UNITED to defeat the GOP in 2014 and beyond at ALL levels of government!
